Seznam Reklama WP

Seznam Reklama WP is an extension (plugin) that enables the easy integration of PPC ads from Seznam.cz, a.s., into CMS WordPress. The plugin contains basic instructions for use and instructions for implementing advertising spaces. Detailed documentation will be available following the end of the test phase.

System requirements

The following system requirements must be met for the Seznam Reklama WP extension to work properly:

Minimum

PHP: version 5.6 and higher

WordPress: version 5.2 and higher

Recommended

PHP: version 7.1 and higher

WordPress: version 5.5 and higher

For seamless automatic insertion of ads, your theme should support at least WordPress version 5.2. If you paste ads manually, you can use themes that are compatible with at least WordPress version 4.5.

Installation

Before installing the plugin, we strongly recommend backing up WordPress. If you encounter unexpected problems, you’ll then be able to restore your site easily. For complete backup instructions, see the “WordPress Backups” section on the official WordPress.org website (the text is in English).

Click the “Download list-ads.zip” button below to download the current version of the plugin seznam-ads.zip. This file contains extensions and also serves as an installation package.

Installation from a WP environment

  1. In the WordPress CSM administration, go to the “Plugins → Installing Plugins” section.
  2. Click on the “Upload Plugin” button at the top.
  3. In the form, use the “Select File” button and select the seznam-ads.zip archive.
  4. Click on “Install” and you will be redirected to the installation page.
  5. Next, activate the plugin by pressing the “Activate” button.
  6. The plugin is now installed and active.

Installation with FTP

  1. To install WordPress, log in with your FTP account.
  2. Navigate the FTP client to the wp-content/plugins folder.
  3. Unzip the seznam-ads.zip archive and upload the entire seznam-ads folder, including its contents, to the wp-content/plugins folder.
  4. Log in to WordPress administration and activate the Seznam Reklama WP plugin in the “Plugins → Plugin Overview” section.
  5. The plugin is now installed and active.
